Our branch of the O'Kelley family can be traced back to Charles O'Kelley born in 1746 in Virginia. Some O'Kelley's believe that Charles father and mother were Thomas O'Kelley and Eliabeth Dean but there is an old family bible that belongs to Dr. Thomas K O'Kelley born in 1833 and his bible lists James O'Kelley (1710) and Anna Dean (1710) as our ancestors.
